Excursions and concerts are free of charge
On the day of each event it is possible to go on an excursion with the Trentino Mountain Guides. Nordic Walking outings with an instructor are also organised.

     Music and nature among the world’s most beautiful mountains and great international artists make the Sounds of the Dolomites one of the most eagerly awaited festivals of the Trentino summer. This year, besides musicians from four continents, it features some special events: the cello trekking of the violoncellist Mario Brunello, who will draw inspiration from the silence and outline of the Dolomites to interpret the Suites of Bach; the new composition of the pianist Uri Caine, dedicated to the Trentino mountains; the tributes to Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and Fabrizio De Andrè "on the mountains of Trento"; dawn in the high mountains with actors such as Marco Paolini and Lucilla Giagnoni; dancing among the trees with the Retouramont. Unmissable appointments in fabulous surroundings. The setting does not provide comfortable seats, but paths to refuges, through fields, woods and plateaus, climbed together with the musicians carrying their instruments, either in the early afternoon sun shining on the rocks, or the early morning sun silhouetting the excursionists on the pink backdrop of the Dolomites bathed in a white sea of clouds. There is the breathtaking uncontaminated natural architecture and the universal language of music uniting populations and cultures. |
